The Caracola Contemporary is right next to the cheapest bar in Los Angeles. It showcases contemporary photography by established artists.

Photos on the left are from "In the Pit", an exhibition of photography from Edward Colver. He shot photographs of Black Flag, Fugazi, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, during a time when punk rock still had balls. Edward sat on these photographs for decades until someone suggested he reprint some. He focuses on found object art now but his collection of photographs will fucking relight your spirit on fire.
